# Change your email address

> Update your contact email address and verify the new address

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Redirect Pro">
    From your Shopify admin, open the **Redirect Pro** app.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Go to Settings">
    Click **Settings** in the app navigation menu.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Find Contact email">
    Locate your current email address in the **Contact email** field.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter new email">
    Clear the field and type your new email address.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save changes">
    Click **Save** on the save bar that appears at the top of the screen.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify your email">
    Check your new email inbox for a verification email from Redirect Pro.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click verification link">
    Open the verification email and click the **Verify email address** link.
  </Step>

### Verification email not received

If you don't see the verification email within a few minutes:

**Check spam/junk folder:**

* The email might be filtered as spam
* Look for sender: `noreply@notifications.scayla.io`
* Mark as "Not spam" if found

**Verify email address was entered correctly:**

* Go back to Settings and check the email field
* Fix any typos and save again
* A new verification email will be sent

**Resend verification email:**

1. Go to **Settings**
2. Click **Resend verification email** next to the email field
3. Check your inbox again
